Why stay in a motel or hotel?
You can be pampered at our house, a restored barn, located on the Mark Twain Lake, a superb hunting, fishing and boating paradise in Northeast Missouri. We are the only Bed and Breakfast on the lake and we are open year around. After a restful night, our guest are served a full breakfast upstairs from our large country kitchen. You will be served fresh eggs from our grass fed chickens plus an assortment of homemade jams, jellies and syrups. Enjoy a secret family recipes of waffles and pancakes. Everybody’s favorite is biscuits with sausage gravy.

The RED BARN INN was a large old red barn restored in 1985, originally an antique shop. In 1998 we bought this beautiful home, adding four unique rooms and an additional bathroom which encloses a large six jet RED HEART hot tub.

Our 3,500 sq. ft. barn includes a main gathering area near the rooms for relaxing around the television and fireplace. Our gift shop items are displayed through out this area.
A few steps down in a split level portion leading to the backyard, you will find an area to exercise and a place to read from our library. Through a large barn door, find an outdoor HOT TUB , gas grills, fire pit, picnic table, bench swing , bad mitten net and a horseshoe pit. Our two acres are next to the Lick Creek hiking and horse trails that follow the shoreline of the Lake.

Your comfort is our main concern
Rooms are unique with different size beds from a twin to a California King. There are two keys , one for your room and another for the outside entrance. Just step outside your room, and there are snacks and drinks that can be made anytime. For you convenience ,a large refrigerator near by that has plenty of ice, filtered water for coffee, herb tea or hot chocolate. The air in the Inn is constantly purified and for the comfort of others, we are a NON –SMOKING B&B. Outside in the front and back we have sand pits for butts and comfortable outdoor furniture.
